Think of Me In Motion (2023 - ongoing)

(Those are pearls that were his eyes. Look!)

                                                                                                        -      ‘The Waste land’ T.S. Eliot

'Think of Me in Motion' is an ongoing body of work exploring urban environments, the ways in which we inhabit them, and how the everyday is rendered through the picture-making process. Weaving poetic encounters and portraiture, the artist examines the fragile relationship between photographer, subject, and audience. The work questions what photographs reveal of our lived experience and their role in the recollection of memory. By acknowledging different photographic conventions, the work reveals how the ordinary world is made strange through picturing. The series presents a set of field notes from the quotidian maelstrom, re-enchanting the world that surrounds us; asking us to look, and look again.
